Collingwood’s Adam Treloar is pained on Danny Frawley’s tragic death

Collingwood’s Adam Treloar, who never met Danny Frawley has opened up about the pain he felt and after hearing about the tragic death of Danny Frawley.

Collingwood star midfielder wishes it wasn’t true.

Treloar revealed his struggles, he detailed how tough things had become for him and for others during the 2018 season last month. And how Frawley was a key figure to help the game move forward and taking steps to address its mental health issues throughout his time in media.

On Frawley’s tragic death, Treloar said he felt “lost”.

He said, “When I found out the news, I just couldn’t believe it. I never met the guy, I can tell how much of an impact he’s had just from the stories I’ve heard in the last 24 hours. I remember when I found out I just wanted to come in. I wanted to just tell everyone just how lucky we are, how grateful we should be for what we have. I’ve been so open and forward about my own struggles this year and I still feel lost. Going into the club today I just felt lost and Bucks brought us in together and spoke about the great man that Danny Frawley was.”
