Australian former rugby league footballer, who played in the National Rugby League Johnathan Thurston, is set to release his another book to spread the word about how he became the NRL’s greatest playmaker.
Johnathan Thurston’s new book is children’s version of his best-selling autobiography and he has urged parents to read to their children.
In a statement, Thurston said, “For me it is Little People: Big Dreams, I have been reading this series of books to my girls every night hoping to both inspire them with strong role models and also to instil a love of books.’’
The rugby league legend’s passion for both reading and young education has prompted him to release a children’s version of his best-selling book Johnathan Thurston: The Autobiography.
The book is set to hit the shelves, JT: The Making of a Total Legend is a children version of his biography that tells the story about how a skinny rugby league reject became the NRL’s greatest playmaker. However, the controversial chapters like the telling of the Bulldogs Coffs Harbour sex scandal have been removed from this children version.
