BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, who convinced both the teams to try out the pink ball, expressed his excitement for the occasion by sharing pictures of the city on his social media, which shows how Kolkata has turned pink the historic pink-ball Test between India and Bangladesh. The entire area in and around Eden Gardens has also been turned into the pink color whereas other places like parks and shopping malls have also been decorated pink to mark the occasion.
Eden Gardens is reportedly set to make history on November 22 when India and Bangladesh play their first Pink Ball Day-Night Test match. With just more than 24 hours remaining for the historic D-day, excitement seems to be in the air of the city of joy as Kolkata is turning pink to embrace the first-ever occasion. All the different tourist spots of the city are illuminated pink.
