The President of HIPSA, Ms Kanthi D Suresh called on the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Shree Bandaru Dattatreya, last evening in Gurugram, and briefed him about HIPSA, and its initiatives.
In a meeting which lasted for an hour, Ms Kanthi explained the vision behind HIPSA and the activities planned out on a Global scale for the promotion of our indigenous sports and also the integration of our diaspora youth across different sports, by holding competitions for them, in India
The first activity of HIPSA begins this month and the team is all geared up to execute the same. A press conference is likely to be held around the 19th of this month to give details on the first event to be held on March 24, 2024 Sources have indicated that the Governor of Haryana is likely to grace the occasion on 24th and the event is being held in Chandigarh. The event is believed to be attracting foreign delegates from all the continents of the World, as we await more information on the same.
