Rahul Dravid disappointed over Indian coaches not getting enough opportunities in IPL

Former India captain and current head of the National Cricket Academy, Rahul Dravid expressed his disappointment over Indian coaches as he feels that the IPL (Indian Premier League) could benefit a lot on having more domestic coaches.

Dravid in a statement said, “I believe we’ve got some very good coaches, a lot of good people. I’m fully confident [in their ability]. Just as we have a lot of talent in the cricket department, we have a lot of talent in the coaching department. We need to give them confidence and time to flourish. I’m sure they will do it. It does sometimes disappoint me when a lot of our boys don’t get opportunities as assistant coaches in IPL.”

He believe that having domestic coaches will help IPL teams do better as Indian coaches know Indian players and understand them better.
