Borussia Dortmund yet to receive Jude Bellingham transfer offers

Jude Bellingham Borussia Dortmund

Sebastien Kehl, sporting director at Borussia Dortmund, has disclosed that the club has not received any transfer offers for Jude Bellingham.

Despite having three years remaining on his Dortmund deal, Bellingham has been heavily linked with a move elsewhere this summer.

Liverpool have opted to cease their pursuit of the 19-year-old, although Real Madrid and Manchester City remain keen on signing the England international.

According to a recent report, Real Madrid have accepted personal terms with Bellingham, putting the club in prime position to sign him.

There was speculation that Real Madrid intended to meet with Dortmund to negotiate a sum in order to finalise the trade by the beginning of June.

Dortmund’s sporting director, on the other hand, has stated that the club has not received any proposals for one of their prized assets.

According to The Athletic, Kehl stated, “Of course, there are rumours, but nothing is on the table.” There are no proposals. Saturday is the only day that matters. Jude is probably thinking about nothing else.”

Dortmund will meet Mainz on the last day of the Bundesliga season for the chance to capture their first Bundesliga title since the 2011-12 season.

Edin Terzic’s team took advantage of Bayern Munich’s defeat to RB Leipzig last weekend to ascend to the top of the Bundesliga standings with a 3-0 win against Augsburg.

Bellingham was left out of the matchday squad for Sunday’s win due to a knee injury, and he is a doubt for the match against Mainz at home.

“Jude is doing everything he can to play on Saturday,” Kehl said of Bellingham’s fitness. He’s a crucial component of the season.”

Bellingham, who has been included to England’s squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers next month, has 14 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances this season.

In total, the former Birmingham City player has appeared in 132 games for Dortmund, scoring 24 goals and assisting on 25 others.

The Englishman will try to push himself in order to probably play his last match for BvB and end his terms by winning the title.
