The former Indian wicketkeeper, Dinesh Karthik has named Rahul Tripathi has the perfect replacement for Virat Kohli.

“I think we shouldn’t forget that in 3 months’ time, 6 months’ time. Maybe he’ll [Tripathi] have a good IPL, maybe he won’t, but he deserves that Indian team number three spot whenever that comes. If Virat Kohli chooses to play, that’s okay, but if Virat Kohli is not around, he should be the first choice, not someone who has done well somewhere else,”
Karthik said while talking to Cricbuzz.
Karthik believes Tripathi has a lot of potential to replace Kohli
He also emphasized how Tripathi, 31, continued to play in the same manner against Sri Lanka and New Zealand despite the fact that his career was on the risk. Tripathi’s boldness is a quality that will be useful for the Indian national team.
