Mitchell Pearce pass ‘out of this world’

A superb Saturday of NRL starts with a huge clash between top four contenders Souths and Manly before Cameron Smith plays his 400th for the Storm.

Still on a high from his redemption act on Wednesday night, Pearce was on fire early in Newcastle’s 20-14 defeat against the Bulldogs, he lofted a beautiful pass that cut out three teammates and landed on the chest of Shaun Kenny-Dowall for the first points of the game.

“The monkey off the back, what a pass this is,” a Fox Sports commentator said. “Out of this world. The delivery. The execution. It is pinpoint accuracy on the chest to Shaun Kenny-Dowall.”
