Arsenal preparing a mega offer for Man City star Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal Jesus

Arsenal are rumoured to be contemplating a summer raid on Premier League rivals Manchester City in order to recruit Gabriel Jesus.

After signing the Borussia Dortmund star striker Erling Haaland, Manchester City are now looking to offload the Brazilian. The 25-year-old will be looking to make a move away from the English Champions knowing that he won’t be offered much game time after the arrival of the Norwegian International.

Arsenal in pursuit of Jesus this summer

After failing to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after his January departure, the Gunners will be on the lookout for a striker before the start of the new season. Mikel Arteta’s dilemma has been exacerbated by the fact that Alexandre Lacazette’s contract with the London club expires this month.

According to The Sun Jesus could be the answer for Arsenal, who are willing to treble his pay in order to get him to the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window. The Brazilian forward has only a year left on his contract with Manchester City and is interested in a move.

Pep Guardiola is not going to stand in Jesus’ way if he wants to leave the champions this summer. Jesus has made a total of 28 appearances and scored eight goals in the Premier League last season.

Arsenal aren’t the only team interested in signing the Man City forward, who is still very young. Clubs in Spain and Italy keeping tabs on his status following the news that Erling Braut Haaland will join Man City.

Despite the fact that Arsenal will not be involved in the Champions League next season, the Brazilian is eager to make a move to the London club. The reason could be Jesus’ relationship with Arteta. The current Arsenal boss use to monitor Jesus during his time at Man City working as an assistant coach with Pep.
