Manchester United in advance talks with Paulo Dybala agents’

paulo dybala

According to reports, Manchester United and Paulo Dybala representatives are now in contact regarding a potential transfer for the Argentina international. After his contract with Juventus expired at the end of June, the 28-year-old is now formally a free agent.

The 20 times English champions Manchester United are in search of their glory days and are looking to restructure their roster under their new manager Erik Ten Hag.

Thus, the Old Trafford club is eyeing to bring in more and more attackers and have recently added Paulo Dybala to their Wishlist.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan was rumoured to be leading the pack in the race to recruit him. But with Romelu Lukaku’s loan return to San Siro, together with Inter CEO Guiseppe Marotta’s assertion that the team’s offensive strategy is now “perfect,”

Romano claims that the attacker’s intended transfer to Inter has been on “stand-by for one month” and that it is now doubtful that he would travel to San Siro.

“Dybala’s part of the free-agent players available on the market – he’s and he was one of the opportunities, but we’ve already completed our attack with very good players,”

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes Marotta as saying.

Manchester United looking to sign Paulo Dybala

According to a recent report, Man United has spoken with Dybala’s agent in order to see whether the South American would be interested in making the move to Old Trafford this summer.

Negotiations between the parties are ‘ongoing,’ according to Italian journalist Angelo Mangiante. Moreover, it has also been reported that the Red Devils are eager to sign him before the 2022–23 season.

During the 2021–22 season, Dybala once again put on a show for Juventus, scoring 15 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions while also providing six assists. Between 2015 and 2022, he made 293 appearances for the Old Lady, scoring 115 goals and registering 48 assists. Moreover, Dybala also helped his team in winning five Serie A championships, four Coppa Italia titles, and three Italian Super Cups.

After bringing in Dusan Vlahovic in January, Juventus allegedly offered Dybala a deal for £160,000 per week before modifying the terms, which prompted the former to decide to look for greener pastures elsewhere.

Man United are already short of attacking options following the departures of Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard on free transfers. While Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be linked with a summer exit. Thus, it is possible that the Red Devils make a push to opt Dybala’s services.

In the present market, where Chelsea and Bayern Munich have both been widely connected with him over the past few days, Ronaldo is said to have informed the Red Devils that he wants to leave the team.

Due to a personal matter, the Portugal international has failed to report to Man United’s preseason training, and it is unknown if he will be joining them on their preseason tour of Thailand and Australia.

Tyrell Malacia was acquired by the 20-time English champions from Feyenoord on Tuesday, and Christian Eriksen is anticipated to be named as the second addition of the Erik ten Hag era this week.
