Matthew Nicks to be Adelaide Crows’ new coach

After knocking back high-profile candidates, the Adelaide Crows have allegedly appointed a former Port Adelaide and GWS senior assistant coach Matthew Nicks as its coach for 2020.

According to reports, Nicks got selected ahead of high profile candidates Adem Yze, Adam Kingsley, Robert Harvey, and Scott Burns. He will be heading a club that no longer has a captain, senior assistant coach, or head of football department.

Nicks, who got selected to replace Don Pyke, was the one amongst all that most impressed the club during its interviews with candidates.

GWS however, is yet to receive official word that they are going to lose Nicks.
