Former England captain Michael Vaughan has been at the receiving end, ever since he commented on Shakib Al Hasan’s ban. Vaughan allegedly said he had no sympathy for the Bangladesh cricketer and that Al Hasan should have got more than 2 years of ban from cricket for breaching the Anti-Corruption Code.
Since then cricketer –turned – commentator is at receiving end of Al Hasan fans who are targeting the former cricketer with replies and memes. Vaughan however, hit back at trolls over his comment
Fans have started comparing Al Hasan’s career statistics with that of Vaughan’s, the former England captain reacted to a troll, saying he wasn’t at all involved in corruption at any point in time in his career.
Vaughan wrote, “I was average…. I accept that…. but at least I wasn’t corrupt.”
