‘Neymar return would be bad for Barcelona,’ says Del Bosque

Former Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque has allegedly said that he would never bring back Neymar if he was in charge of Barcelona. According to Del Bosque, Barcelona should view its failure to seal a deal for Neymar as a blessing in disguise.

The 27-year-old Brazil international Neymar, who is reportedly unhappy in France, so he could still return to Camp Nou in future, while Real Madrid remains interested.

But former Madrid and Spain manager Del Bosque believes that Neymar represents more trouble than he is worth.

In a statement, Del Bosque said, “It would have been good for the Spanish league for him to return but if I was involved with a club, I wouldn’t have signed him. He is a great player, but there are other things I don’t like. He did not behave well at Barcelona. He behaved badly, or very badly. If you did a survey in Barcelona, there would surely be more than 50 per cent who would be reluctant to have him back.”
