Ravi Shastri to go through process of appointment again? Yes, if ethics officer has the last say

Head coach of Team India, Ravi Shastri, who was recently re-elected to the position, might have to go through the entire process of appointment if the ethics officer DK Jain finds the CAC guilty of “conflict of interest.”

The 3-member CAC, comprising Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad, and Shantha Rangaswamy, has come under fire for alleged “conflict of interest” following which, Shantha Rangaswamy has already resigned from the committee. The three of them have to individually reply by October 10 to the notices sent by the ethics officer on Saturday.

Hence, the appointment of Ravi Shastri by the CAC is also under the cloud, and if the three are found to be conflicted, he will have to go through the entire process all over again.
