Deepak shot 145 in the final of the event on the opening day of the meet. Last year, he won the ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara. With him, India has now 10 Tokyo Olympics quotas in rifle and pistol. Ahead of us are Japan (12), Korea (12), and China at the top with 25 quotas from the Asian region.

Deepak is the second Indian to bag the Olympic quota in the particular event after Divyansh Singh Panwar, who secured it in April.
