Arsenal have sacked manager Unai Emery for a spate of dry spell, with no victories in the last seven games. Emery was with Arsenal for the last 18 months. The Premier League club is at eight in the standings with just four wins in 13 matches.
Freddie Ljungberg is brought in as interim coach, said a club statement. “The decision has been taken due to results and performances not being at the level required.” The club said it has full faith in the interim coach that he would deliver to the expectations and take Arsenal forward.
