Govt of India’s, MyGovIndia, tweets about Kanthi D Suresh for breaking glass ceiling

In a recent tweet, MyGovIndia mentioned Ms. Kanthi D Suresh underlining her achievements and unparalleled contribution towards sports promotion in India. Kanthi D Suresh is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Power Sportz, India’s maiden digital sports channel

Even in the past, she had been duly recognized in various platforms. She is one of the most distinguished ‘womanpreneur’ in the country steering a male-dominated genre that sports is. Kanthi D Suresh is the only woman to helm a sports company in India.

They say “Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown”. It is never easy to put on the shoes of an entrepreneur and run a company where every day is marked by cutthroat competition and rivals breathing down your neck. When it is a woman, the ordeal magnifies.

Kanthi D Suresh takes PS to great heights

With unflinching determination and hard work as a leader, brushing aside every hurdle, she helped Power Sportz bag many laurels in just two years.

Under the tutelage of Kanthi D Suresh, Power Sportz received the India International Excellence award. The award was presented to her at a ceremony in Dubai attended by several renowned personalities including members of the Royal families of the UK and UAE.

As the astute show host of the flagship program of Power Sportz, “Talking Turkey with Kanthi”, she has so far exposed several issues that scourge Indian sports. There have been quite a few repercussions too after some of the episodes as Power Sportz impact.

The recognition by the MyGovIndia is indeed a great acknowledgment. PM Modi had decided to share his social media handle on the occasion of Women’s day, for women who had inspired others on account of their achievements.

However, going by Kanthi’s pedigree this is just the beginning as more is yet to come in the future.
