Both LSG and GT have won their two matches at MCA Stadium, Pune. LSG’s batsmen had a tremendous showing in their last game against KKR, scoring over 170 runs. The bowlers didn’t allow the KKR batters to settle in during the second innings, allowing the club to win by 75 runs.

The pitch is likely to perform similarly, so batting first might be the best option. While spinners could be crucial in this contest.

Shubman Gill is only 12 runs away from being GT’s best run-scorer this season. Gill has been a fiery starter for the club in the last couple of games and is likely to do so again in this one.
