Kylian Mbappe banished from first-team training at Paris Saint-Germain

Kylian Mbappe post that led to Manchester United fans comments

Kylian Mbappe is reportedly forbidden from exercising with PSG’s first-team squad ahead of the new Ligue 1 season.

The Frenchman has been in a stalemate with PSG after refusing to sign a contract extension until next summer.

PSG believe Mbappe has already committed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, and they want to sell him now rather than let him walk away for free in June 2024.

After accepting a world-record proposal of £259 million last month, they granted Mbappe permission to meet with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

However, the forward was uninterested in finalising a move to the Saudi Pro League and refused to meet with Al-Hilal representatives.

Because of the impasse between player and club, Mbappe was cut out of PSG’s pre-season trip to Japan and South Korea.

Kylian Mbappe to leave PSG this summer?

Luis Enrique’s team is due to resume to training on Monday, but the 24-year-old has been forbidden from working with the main first-team group, according to BBC Sport.

According to the report, the France international will train with the ‘loft’ group rather than the ‘A’ training group as they prepare for the upcoming season.

There are no signs of a resolution nearing after Mbappe allegedly rejected down PSG’s last offer, which contained a selling clause in his contract for the end of the season.

The Parisians are now considering loaning Mbappe out for the season, which has piqued the interest of two Premier League clubs.

Chelsea are thought to be interested in a loan transfer for Mbappe, while a recent report indicated that Mbappe might consider joining Liverpool on a short-term deal.

With Mbappe’s future unknown, PSG are allegedly preparing to reinforce their forward line by signing Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos.

The defending French champions will begin their championship defence against Lorient on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
