Liverpool are ready to accept terms with Brazilian star for £55.7million

Liverpool Brazilian star

Liverpool are still interested in signing the Brazilian star forward Raphinha from Leeds United, according to reports, and the number of suitors for the Brazilian is rapidly growing.

The Merseyside club have recently secured the signing of two youngsters. Darwin Nunez from Benfica and Calvin Ramsey from Aberdeen. However, the Reds are not done yet with their summer transfer business. As Sadio Mane is yet to leave Anfield and once the deal is completed with Bayern Munich there will be more inflows in cash. Thus, it might be possible that the English club could bring in more players this summer.

Liverpool getting closer to sign the Brazilian star

According to a Spanish news source, Liverpool, who are looking to replace Sadio Mane, have applied tremendous pressure.

Moreover, they would continue to do so in order to secure the services of the former Sporting CP star.

Meanwhile, it is also being said that the player might have transferred to Anfield by now if Deco hadn’t intervened.

As Raphinha is being represented by the Barca icon (Deco), who wants him to join for the Nou Camp team.

The Brazilian’s agent has promised Barcelona’s club president Laporta that the Leeds striker would wait until Barcelona’s financial troubles were resolved.

Meanwhile, Liverpool adores Raphinha, according to the Catalan source. Thus, the Merseyside club are willing to agree to an expensive deal to sign him.

The Reds have offered a huge contract to the South American. This will pay him significantly more than the terms agreed upon by Deco with Barca.

Some Premier League clubs, on the other hand, are willing to pay the Elland Road outfit’s asking price of 65 million euros (£55.7 million).

While during last season, the 25-year-old winger helped the Whites avoid relegation by scoring 14 goals in the Premier League.

With Sadio Mane due to go, Liverpool require a talented winger who can play on either flank.

Raphinha would be an excellent addition. We’ll keep you updated on how the transfer situation plays out in the coming days.
