The odd activity on the Instagram account of Kylian Mbappe has Manchester United supporters on high alert.
After Paris Saint Germain was defeated by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, the star forward shared a photo on Instagram (February 14).
With Mbappe resuming the game for PSG after his injury recovery, the German team defeated them 1-0 in the round of 16 match.
Mbappe used social media to provide his followers an update following the unfortunate outcome.
But after being translated by Instagram’s translation function, what appeared to be a typical post on the surface turned out to be very peculiar.
Manchester United fans commenting on post of Mbappe
The caption for the image in the post read,
“Tout reste à faire…”
The general translation of this is
“Everything remains to be done…”
The Instagram translation tool, however, clearly stated it as:
“All that remains to be done… Manchester United’s team is now on @psg.”
It’s a strange problem that, obviously, drew a lot of attention from United supporters and even the players, it appears. Fans appeared to become even more enthused after Marcus Rashford replied on the post with a fire emoji.
“United calling bro,” one commented on the Instagram post.
“WELCOME TO MANCHESTER UNITED,” another optimistic fan added.
One more said: “Manchester United coming to win the Champions League next Season.”
Mbappe, who was taken off after just 21 minutes of PSG’s 3-1 Ligue 1 victory at Montpellier last week, started the game on the bench on Tuesday. He was also the World Cup’s golden boot winner last year.
However, at the moment things look difficult for the French Champions. Mbappe’s PSG were one of the favourites to win the UCL this season. But now it looks like the Ligue 1 side could be out of the completion even before the Quarter-final stage.
