Cleveland Browns defensive end Chris Smith paid tribute to his girlfriend Petara Cordero, who died in a car accident, weeks after the couple welcomed their daughter Haven Harris Smith.
The player broke his silence when he posted a series of pictures and videos of his girlfriend on his Instagram page.
He wrote, “God has a plan for all of us we can’t understand but she is in a better place now and she can rest easy. My wifey my best friend and the mother of my beautiful daughter. Love you baby❤️🙏🏾 #StayStrong🙏🏾🥰❤️ #RIPMyLove”
Chris Smith later also posted a story where he told that he had gotten the same tattoo along with several of their loved ones in memory of Cordero.
