Paul Gascoigne is on trial for “forcibly and sloppily” kissing a woman on a train

England great Paul Gascoigne is on trial for kissing a woman on a train. He even cried while standing in the witness box, as he denied any sexual intent when he kissed the woman on a train.

The 52-year-old is on a trial, as he is accused of sexual assault after a woman reported that he “forcibly and sloppily” kissed on her lips on a Cross Country train from York to Newcastle in the month of August last year.

However, Gascoigne denied the accusation and said that he kissed the woman on her lips because he just wanted to “protect” her as a fellow train passenger made fun of her weight.

Former footballer told the jury that he heard someone on the train called the woman “fat and ugly” and that made him think of comforting her that moment.
