In a bizarre announcement, the International Athletic Federation had laid down a diktat that female athletes who produce a naturally high level of testosterone cannot compete in the women’s category. Apart from sending the entire sports fraternity into a tizzy, this rule has also left the United Nations highly baffled. These women would have to undergo surgery or hormone replacement therapy to become eligible to participate in a women’s category.
