SA soccer community allegedly lashed out for SBS TV soccer host Lucy Zelic labels Adelaide a ‘s**thole’ and ‘incredibly dull’ on The World Game podcast
Zelic replied to Gordon, saing: “You won’t see much in Adelaide,” after asking him where in Australia he had visited since arriving in the country.
“Adelaide’s a s**thole.
“No disrespect, no disrespect.
“I can say that because I’ve travelled there multiple times and I didn’t enjoy it.
“I found it to be incredibly dull and boring.”
In a tweet on Tuesday, Zelic said that she recognized the “ungracious” comments about Adelaide “weren’t OK” and that she was “truly sorry” for what she had said.
However, Zelic’s comment prompted FIVEaa breakfast hosts David Penberthy and Will Goodings to label her a “dopey cow” and an “airhead”.
Also, Premier Steven Marshall joined the debate, and said, “It’s an outrageous comment.”
