Harbhajan Singh has clarified about his International future

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has allegedly clarified the speculations about his international future after rumors were widespread that Harbhajan is set to quit international cricket in order to play in The Hundred T20 league in England.

Singh in a statement said that he will be withdrawing his name from the Players’ Draft of the new ‘The Hundred’ league in the United Kingdom and will only be playing the next edition of the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

There was some twitching that Harbhajan’s name was in the Players’ Draft at a base price of GBP 100,000 for this ambitious project but being an active cricketer, he is not allowed to play without a formal announcement of retirement.

In an interview, Harbhajan said, “For me, Indian Premier League and Chennai Super Kings remain priorities. I have had two good seasons with CSK where we played two finals. So right now, a good third season is what I am looking at.”
