An England World Cup rival Ben Youngs has fired back at Wallabies star Matt To’omua with a cutting one-line jest about his superstar wife Ellyse Perry.
To’omua made fun of Youngs by declaring he “wasn’t even the best player in his family”. But the smile couldn’t last longer on Wallabies star’s face as English star Ben Youngs brilliantly used his right to reply.
Youngs said, “He’s pretty happy with himself, he sent me the video. It’s funny talking about the second fiddle. He’s married to Ellyse Perry, so he knows my pain.”
It’s may seem hard to argue with Young’s brutal takedown. To’omua, however, will be preparing to reply on the field on Saturday night.
