Aubameyang scored 11 goals in just 17 games for Barcelona in the second half of the previous season, but since Lewandowski’s arrival, he has slipped down the lineup.

Alonso, on the other hand, joined Chelsea in 2016 and has since made almost 200 appearances for the team in all competitions, contributing 29 goals.

The 31-year-old has contributed to the club’s victories in the FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, Champions League, and Europa League throughout that period.

The Spaniard, who was replaced in the lineup by newcomer Marc Cucurella, has not appeared in either of Tuchel’s matchday squads thus far this season.
