The NRL has fined Newcastle star David Klemmer $1150 after an accusation he reportedly swore at an NRL sideline official during the Knights’ desolate loss to Penrith.
The former star Klemmer was investigated by the NRL following the claims TV footage that showed the star forward turning around to the sideline official and saying the words ““f***ing idiot”.
According to reports Klemmer was facing the sideline official as he said the words, due to which the NRL had announced that Klemmer had been charged with abusing a sideline official at Panthers Stadium.
According to reports, Klemmer was called back into the middle of the field to pack a scrum while he was coming from the field to be substituted.
A video footage clearly shows Klemmer turning back and saying the words ““f***ing idiot” towards the sideline.
