Gloucester flyhalf Danny Cipriani has been left out of England’s World Cup

England coach Eddie Jones has left Danny Cipriani out of England’s World Cup training camp, which is going to fly for Italy.

Earlier this month Eddie Jones selected Cipriani in his 35-man training squad. But the 31-year-old spent time away from the team for doing specialized strength and conditioning work along with Bath duo Sam Underhill and Anthony Watson.

Cipriani was titled Premiership player of the year and RPA players’ player during the last season.

Coach Jones has named a 38-man squad for a 12-day heat camp. Underhill and Watson will be travelling with the squad, and the uncapped Harlequins centre Joe Marchant joins the group for the first time.
