Pep Guardiola allegedly has a break clause in his contract, which simply means that he could leave at the end of the season. However, Manchester City chiefs are still confident of keeping him as they are fans of Mauricio Pochettino and want to have him in the club.
Guardiola, who penned a new deal just a year back in order to extend his original contract until 2021 has an agreement according to which he could depart if he wishes. City officials have always been admirers of former Tottenham boss Pochettino. In fact, the club are confident that Guardiola will stay but at the same time they are making plans if in case he leaves
