Shivam Dube gets maiden India call-up, credits Kohli, De Villiers for teaching him play ‘fearless cricket’

All-rounder Shivam Dube gets maiden India call-up against Bangladesh T20I series starting November 3. It was a call in waiting for the talented young cricketer who plays alongside Indian skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for RCB in the IPL.

After his selection in the team, Shivam Dube credited his fearless approach towards the game to Kohli and de Villiers. Sharing the dressing room with these two stalwarts helped him take his game to the next level, he said.

Dube played a key role for India A against West Indies A and South Africa A. His impressive show against them earned him a maiden international call-up. Shivam was also brilliant in the Vijay Hazare trophy scoring 177 runs in five innings, averaging 88.50 for Mumbai.
