Bohemians vs Chelsea: A friendly kicks-off pre-season campaign for the Blues

As part of their pre-season preparation, English club Chelsea decided to kick-off with a friendly against the Irish side Bohemians, which was grabbing eyeballs in the parleys of football. Despite being an unofficial match, fans were eager to watch their favorites players take on the field.

A legend himself for Chelsea, Frank Lampard has now donned the hat of a manager of the club he always loved playing for. Since this is his first stint as a manager, all eyes were on him as to which players he would pick for his first playing XI.

Lampard begins his new journey as Chelsea boss with a draw as both teams scored one goal each.

“It was a tough game for us,” Lampard said. “We haven’t been back for long and this was our first game after just a few days so there was a bit of pressure on the lads to work today.
