Injured Dallas Cowboys’ defensive lineman Daniel Ross was allegedly arrested in Frisco on Wednesday. According to Frisco police Ross was immediately taken into custody for unlawful possession of weapon and marijuana. The 26-year-old, who joined the Cowboys off Kansas City’s practice squad in 2017, allegedly played 13 games last season with the Cowboys, amassed 14 combined tackles and one sack is currently on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Police in the Dallas suburb of Frisco alleged that Ross has been arrested on charges of possession of unlawful weapon and possession of marijuana. In a statement, Frisco police Sgt. Evan Mattei said that Ross was taken into custody on Wednesday morning. However, he didn’t provide any other details. Also, the department didn’t response immediately to a public information request.
