Jofra Archer won’t be playing in today’s test match

Due to the injury England pace bowler Jofra Archer has been listed out from the first test match against Australia starting at Edgbaston on August 1st.

The bowler is said to have failed to recover from the injury due to which he won’t be able to play Ashes Test.

Ashes 2019, England has named their squad for 1st Test which is starting from today, i.e., August 1 in Birmingham. But the sad news for the fans is World Cup hero Jofra Archer won’t be able to make it in for the opening Test.

Team will have, Rory Burns, Jason Roy, Joe Root (c), Joe Denly, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, James Anderson. 

Chris Woakes, Jos Buttler and all-rounder Ben Stokes are in the team, however, Barbados-born Archer, Olly Stone, and Sam Curran misses out from the original 14-man squad.
